Just a Peek at Christmas.......

....... I have been quite frustrated for about a week trying to upload to my blog and was not able to due to having no more storage space in my Picasa web albums.   Thanks to my daughter and son-in-law the problem has been solved.  So, now I will give you some teaser glimpses of the Christmas decorations.

You will eventually see the whole setting, probably room by room. Most of you know by now that I have very limited space but that hasn't made it any quicker to complete. Sometimes I wish I wasn't so particular - then it would go much faster. This is an over sized glass ornament. I got several things after Christmas last year at Target's great sale. This is one of two big ornaments I found and love.

I, just today, added a little real greenery to this shelf and several other places around the rooms. I am working towards being ready for my annual "Gifts From the Kitchen" brunch next Saturday. I'm hoping the cut evergreens will stay fresh looking until then.

The kitchen is where I decorated differently this year from what I have done year after year. I have a big bin of ceramic and other decorations that I didn't unpack.  I like the different look.

I apologize to my face book friends who have already seen this and the following pictures.  This little mischievous Santa has been sneaking around from room to room. The first day I found him up on this clock.

The next day he was here among some bells and yarn balls...........

........hiding among the snowmen.........

........up in the wreath on my bedroom wall.....

........on a shelf in the family room.......

........with the chickens on top of the refrigerator.......

........in the cream pitcher.....
~~~~~~
Check back in a couple of days to see some full-shot pictures. I hope you are having as much fun decorating as I have!
  1. I'm so glad you were able to fix the blog/picture situation. I look forward to seeing your pictures and reading their descriptions. The Sneeking Santa is so very cute but I'm glad for your sake that he doesn't do naughty things like some of those elves I've seen. :-)
  2. Silly little Santa! Elf on the Shelf comes to visit one of my granddaughters. She swears his eyes move around watching her wherever she goes. LOL!
